What is a 'GrIID™'?

GrIID's enable cities, regions and countries to address the urgent challenges of climate change, equitable economic recovery, local supply chain resilience and we accelerate a global need to shift to green, circular and sustainable economic paradigms.

Models that re-localize production, service delivery, materials recovery and employment will be increasingly necessary, innovating and landing green infrastructure, activities and jobs close to our urban centres, where citizen demand is concentrated.

In the 21st century our foundations for uPban planning, infrastructure and iobs will have to be green and equitable. By creating distributed micro-districts and collaborative networks around green, circular innovation, GrIID's are conceived and designed to do exactly that.

Every city and region will need its own GrIID or network of GrIID's, and Vancouver is here to get us started.
